To the residents of Bedford,
I appreciate the interest that many of you have expressed in displaying a sign supporting our candidacy for re-election as your State Representative. Bedford culture, however, has traditionally restricted lawn signs to the few weeks before an election. It is for that reason that I have held off putting up lawn signs until the election draws closer.
For the first time this election, our residents can participate in early voting. Our town clerk will accept ballots during specified hours from October 24 to 28 and October 31 to November 4. The specific hours the clerk will be accepting ballots will be posted. This new access to early voting will allow our residents to avoid any issues with parking, lines or any other inconvenience. I intend to take advantage of this convenience and I recommend you consider it as well.
Because voting will begin two weeks prior to the traditional election on November 8, 2016, we will be putting out our lawn signs shortly. If you are not scheduled to receive one and you would like to request a sign, please contact us at [email protected] or call us at 781-656-5364. Thank you.
