Bedford is the very proud home of Hanscom AFB and the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans’ Hospital. There are many veterans who live in Bedford that served in the military. They call Bedford “home.”
We honor men and women who are veterans, and we honor men and women who are now serving in the military and to those who have served and to those who are still serving stationed at Hanscom AFB.
We appreciate them for their sacrifices. They paid the high price of freedom, and we thank them for their service to our country. We also appreciate those who are serving on the frontlines.
Please proudly display the American flag in front of your homes, cars, pickup trucks between now and Armed Forces Day on May 18 and Memorial Day on May 27.
Please remember to also display your American flags on Flag Day, June 14.
