The Squeezebox Stompers’ special brand of Cajun, Zydeco, blues and Americana music will open the Bedford Recreation Department’s 2016 Summer Concert Series at 7 pm on Thursday, July 7.
The free, weekly concerts take place at the Town’s “Activity Complex,” 12 Mudge Way, opposite the library and the high school.
The concert venue boasts a vast lawn where concert goers are invited to gather, picnic and relax. The slightly elevated performance stage is surrounded by a fenced playground, outdoor basketball courts, outdoor tennis courts, a walking track, a skate park and numerous athletic fields.
Ample parking surrounds the area, and restrooms are readily available.
All concerts are free and scheduled to begin at 7 pm on successive Thursdays. The 2016 schedule includes:
