The Bedford Boy Scouts of Troop114 are continuing their long tradition in fundraising by selling Holiday Wreaths again this year. The community has shown great support for this event. In fact, last year the boys were able to sell more than 1,200 wreaths and they hope to sell even more this year.
The scouts range in age from 12 to 18. They will be canvassing Bedford’s neighborhoods during October 20 through November 18. The beautiful fresh wreaths cost $12 if plain and $15 if plain with a red velvet bow. The Troop uses the proceeds from this campaign to underwrite its operations for the year. Funds are used for the purchase of camping equipment and supplies, merit badges and rank awards, and to cover the various costs of the Troops wide range of activities.
Neighborhood sales begin on October 20th and conclude on November 18. A Troop 114 Boy Scout will be coming to your door soon to take your order! On-line sales can be ordered after November 11. Persons wanting to order wreaths can order on-line at www.troop114.org/wreaths.
