Update: 4:15 pm -West Bedford skies are clearing. Bedford’s official police reporter John Gulfoil checked in by email at 3:56, saying that no damage had been reported in Bedford, but if reports surface there will be further updates to this page.
4 pm – Intellicast and NECN show the storm passing to the South of Bedford, although there is a fair amount of lightning and loud thunder in West Bedford just now. Reports of downed power lines apparently closed Rte 128 in the last hour or so, according to NECN.
Strong storm are in the area on Tuesday afternoon. Bedford dodged a bullet with a storm attached to a tornado warning passing to our North, but another area of strong storms is heading East. According to NECN, if the storm sustains it will arrive in Bedford just before 4 PM.
Mass Alerts sent a Severe Thunderstorm warning for Bedford at 3:25.
