The Bedford Free Public Library will be closed through Thursday, July 16, because of a burst pipe in our HVAC unit that was discovered early Monday morning and caused quite a bit of flooding.

Repairs are ongoing and the staff hopes to re-open the library on Friday, July 17.

Please return any library items in the bookdrop.  The staff will backdate all returns to Monday July 13th – the first day we were closed.

If you see items on your account that you know you returned please be patient – we will get everything checked in when staff are allowed to return to work.

If you have holds waiting for pickup – don’t worry they will be waiting for you when we return.
Museum passes will not be available until we can re-open.

There will be no Storytime on Wednesday July 15th.
