The Bedford Board of Health in conjunction with our generous Medical Reserve Corps and CERT volunteers held a successful Town Flu Clinic on Saturday, October 19th at John Glenn Middle School. This year we served Bedford residents 6 months of age and older. With our new clinic set up and advance availability of registration forms online there were no lines and no waiting throughout the 4 hour clinic.

We still have flu vaccine available! The following three walk-in clinics have been scheduled at the Board of Health office in the Town Center Building (yellow building behind Town Hall) located at 12 Mudge Way:

  1. Thursday, October 24th, 10:00 – 11:00 am
  2. Thursday, October 31st, 10:00 – 11:00 am
  3. Thursday, November 7th, 3:00 – 4:00 pm

These walk-in flu clinics are free and open to Bedford residents 6 months of age and older. Please wear clothing that allows for easy access to your arm for vaccine administration. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We have the following flu vaccine formulations available at these clinics: flu shots, flu mist (nasal spray for healthy children 2-18 of age) and high-dose (65 year old and over). Please note: we have a limited supply of flu mist and high dose vaccine. These will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.

Before you arrive at the walk-in clinic, save a step and download and complete the appropriate registration form (either Flu Shot or Flu Mist). The Board of Health asks that you bring your medical insurance cards to the clinic you attend.

For the registration forms and more information about the flu vaccine please visit the Board of Health website at www.bedfordma.gov/health.
