Metal Recycling and Paper Shredding: A DPW Doubleheader for Residents on April 20

recycleBedford’s Department of Public Works (DPW)  is hosting a free paper shredding and metal recycling event for Bedford residents at the DPW building, 314 The Great Road, on Saturday, April 20, from 9 am to noon.

PAPER SHREDDING

A Shred-It mobile shredding truck will provide a community shredding event free of charge to Bedford residents. Shred all of your outdated personal and confidential documents while you watch.  This is a proven means to help prevent identity theft and ensure your privacy.

All paper shredded from the event will be recycled. Any resident with very large quantities of boxes may experience a delay in service. Staples, paper clips and small binder clips can be mixed in with paper. Metal hanging folders should be removed.
