The World's A Stage Players, Concord Players' Shakespeare troupe, presents Richard II Saturdays & Sundays, September 9, 10, 16 & 17 AT 5:00 pm outdoors on the lawn of the Concord Free Public Library and on Friday, September 15 at 7:00 pm indoors at 51 Walden Street in concord Center. This lesser known, but beautifully poetic play, follows the deposition of Richard by his cousin, Henry Bolingbroke (later Henry IV) and begins an inherently dramatic series of events that covers 185 years of English history and eight Shakespeare plays. Admission is Free! Bring a lawn chair or blanket to the library.
