Title: “The Joy of Being Just”

The guest speaker is Kannan Thiruvengadam who leads Eastie Farm, an urban farm in East Boston that fosters food security, regenerative land use, and environmental stewardship. He says: “I lost my own mother as a child. Later in life, I learned climate science and realized the risks to our shared mother earth. I sought relief in action, running a farm that empowers young people to be compassionate climate leaders, and an advocacy group fighting for a beautiful coastal habitat. Every day I ask myself: “Am I healthy enough to be kind? Am I grateful enough to be hopeful? What’s my role in the care for creation? Together, let us explore these questions, and those in your heart.”
