Join us for our April Chapter meeting with guest speaker Rick Johnson, former attorney for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), who will briefly describe the state environmental review process regarding the Hanscom Field proposed expansion for private jets, and then take questions. The public comment period, now through May 10th, is our formal chance to oppose the proponent’s plan for the Hanscom Air Field expansion project, so let’s take action. Private jet emissions from Hanscom alone already cancel nearly 50% of the climate gains from all solar PV ever installed in MA. Building new hangars at Hanscom would produce even further setbacks that our state and climate cannot afford.
