This Friday, August 4 from 1 – 2 pm, everyone is invited and encouraged to attend the free performance of “Broadway Junior Revue: Raise Your Voice,” performed by the Bedford Recreation Department Junior Summer Stock cast. The performance will take place in the air-conditioned JGMS Auditorium located at 99 McMahon Road. The performance is one hour long without intermission, appropriate for all audiences, and no tickets are necessary.

“Raise Your Voice” is a musical journey across 15 song and dance numbers from a range of musicals – classic to modern.  The audience will recognize songs from Singin’ in the Rain and Guys and Dolls to The Little Mermaid. The show is directed by Aidan Tatar, with musical direction from Kelsey Mack and assistants Ellie Mitchell and Mary Couveé.

Junior Summer Stock is a summer program for kids entering grades 4 – 9, offering a musical theater production experience from audition to performance. Participants learn and rehearse a range of skills needed to put on a full performance including singing, acting, choreography, character development, blocking, teamwork, and more.
