Town Office Schedules for July 4 and July 5

In observance of Independence Day, several Town Offices will be closed for Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5. 

Please reference the list below of hours for specific offices during this holiday:

All Town Hall offices, Bedford Health and Human Services Department and Youth and Family Services, Council on Aging, Bedford MA Recreation Department:

• July 4 – Closed 
• July 5 – Closed 

Bedford Massachusetts Police Department and Fire Departments:

• July 4 – Normal Hours (Open 24/7)
• July 5 – Normal Hours (Open 24/7)

Springs Brook Park:

• July 4 – Normal Hours (12 p.m. – 5 p.m.)
• July 5 – Normal Hours (12 p.m. – 7 p.m.)

Bedford Free Public Library 

• July 4 – Closed 
• July 5 – Normal Hours (9 a.m. – 6 p.m.)

Department of Public Works and Facilities Department:

• July 4 – Closed 
• July 5 – Normal Hours (8 a.m. – 4 p.m.)

Many services, such as online bill pay, will remain available online at www.bedfordma.gov

All offices will reopen with normal hours on Monday, July 8.

Trash and Recycling Collection will resume on a regular schedule (Monday, July 8 pickup). The Compost and Recycling Center will be open for regular hours on Saturday, July 6 from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
