The Bedford Garden Club thanks all the Bedford residents who turned out for our recent plant sale, held in front of the DPW headquarters on The Great Rd. We were blown away at the number of customers who showed up right when the sale opened at 9:30 a.m. and purchased so many of our perennials, especially the native plants we featured for this sale.
We appreciate the community’s support for this annual event that is the Club’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and look forward to holding another successful sale next May – always the day before Mother’s Day so that our customers can buy the beautiful floral arrangements we make to give to the mothers in their lives.
Money raised from this sale are used for the Club’s scholarship fund, civic projects, and guest speaker programs that are free and open to the public.
