Dr. Dianne Bridgeman is retiring after serving Bedford in her Family Dental Practice for 32 years. Dr. Leo Kharin will be taking over and continuing the practice.

As many of you know, I founded Bedford Family Dental in 1992. Our office has been serving Bedford and many surrounding towns with exceptional dentistry for more than 32 years.
Despite the wave of corporate dental office mergers, we have maintained an independent, patient centered office, allowing us to form personal relationships with our patients and provide comprehensive, high-quality dentistry.
I have thrived on getting to know my patients, learning so much from them and taking care of their dental needs. This has been a very rewarding career for me, while raising three sons in the Bedford Public Schools and being involved in the schools, sports, bands, scouts, and church.
My background as an emergency nurse served me well as we established a caring, open, and honest office that was relationship based and patients felt they could trust our recommendations and impact their health and wellness.
Bedford has been a great town to work in, live in, and raise a family. I feel Bedford serves all ages well, from the very young in preschool to a wonderful active Council of Aging with support from Friends of the Bedford COA. It also is a great community to retire in as there is so much available to participate in: from COA activities and classes, Bedford Recreation Department classes, Pickleball and golf, as well as an active arts community and excellent programs at Bedford High School to attend.
This sounds like an infomercial to come live in Bedford. But I am so thankful my husband and I landed here in 1986.
After decades of serving Bedford, I am delighted to introduce Dr. Leo Kharin who has successfully taken over the practice. Choosing a successor was a long process and I have found Dr. Kharin to be a great fit for our office. He possesses the same patient-centered clinical approach, compassion and attention to his patient’s needs. He has brought new energy to our team while honoring the core values of our practice, where we earn your trust and confidence through impeccable dentistry and lasting personal relationships.
Dr. Kharin graduated from Tufts University School of Dental medicine in 2010, where he was a recipient of Merit and Alberti Scholarships. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in 2011.
In 2021, Dr. Kharin attained a Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry, joining the elite group of dentists dedicated to clinical excellence through continuing education.
His compassion, attention to his patient’s needs, and his pursuit of perfection have made him one of the leading dentists in Andover, where he has been practicing for almost a decade. Prior to that, he was in Bedford for a couple of years. He lives in Concord with his wife and two young sons.
Dr. Kharin is also proudly serving the country as an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve.
I am excited to enter this new phase of life where I can pursue my hobbies, sports, and travel.
Our staff has remained intact and are fully committed to the office and its unique relationship-based service. Dr. Kharin looks forward to getting to know his patients personally.
