I have a few time-sensitive updates to share in this special edition.
- Bucs Boys Basketball into the Semis! Congratulations to the BHS Varsity Boys Basketball team who are playing in the state semifinals on Tuesday night at 7 pm at UMass Boston. Buy tickets here. We have arranged for chaperoned buses to take interested BHS students to the game. Please note that this is for BHS students only, and information about bus sign-up was sent to students via their BHS email accounts. Younger students and parents who’d like to attend must arrange their own transportation.
- School Committee meeting rescheduled. Given the high interest in supporting the basketball team, we are postponing the previously scheduled School Committee meeting to an abbreviated virtual only meeting on Wednesday, 3/13/24 at 8 pm. I will present my Entry Plan Findings Report at the next meeting on 3/26/24.
- Strategic Planning Survey #1, Take 2. Finally, there was an access error to this 2-minute Strategic Planning Survey #1 that I sent out in my Friday March 8th Update. Please take this survey to help us determine if the Friday Superintendent Update engages a sufficient community/caregiver audience to serve as a meaningful feedback mechanism for the development of the 2024-2027 district improvement plan.
