As Easter approaches, The First Baptist Church of Bedford at 155 Concord Road is gearing up for a weekend filled with joy, celebration, and worship. With events designed for the whole family, the church aims to bring the community together to rejoice in the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

On Saturday, March 30, families are invited to join in on the fun at The First Baptist Church’s Family Easter Celebration. From 10 a.m. to noon, children of all ages can participate in an Easter egg hunt, circle story time, springtime decorating, and unleashing their creativity with Easter-theme crafts to take home. And after all the excitement, enjoy hot chocolate and delicious treats provided by the church

“We’re thrilled to offer this event as a way for families to come together and celebrate Easter in a fun and meaningful way,” said Alex Flett, Children’s Ministry Coordinator at The First Baptist Church. “It’s a time for children to enjoy the thrill of hunting for eggs, express their creativity through crafts, and for families to create lasting memories together. It’s a time for children to learn the meaning of Easter, to create lasting memories with family, and possibly experience new traditions!”

The festivities continue Easter Sunday morning with a special worship service at The First Baptist Church. Starting at 10 a.m., everyone is invited to come together to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ through uplifting music, inspirational messages, and fellowship with fellow believers. The service will provide an opportunity for reflection and gratitude as the community gathers to worship the risen Savior.

“We welcome everyone to join us for our Easter Sunday service as we rejoice in the hope and promise of Easter,” said Pastor Kevin Cunningham. “It’s a time to celebrate the victory of life over death and the love that God has shown us through His Son, Jesus Christ.”

Whether you’re looking for family-friendly activities or a place to worship on Easter Sunday, The First Baptist Church of Bedford invites you to join in the celebration.
