The core annual fundraising drive supporting CSF of Bedford Dollars for Scholars is taking place this week.
Some 6,000 appeal letters are being delivered as the chapter executes its annual Dollars for Scholars “Mail-a-thon.”
Bedford High School student volunteers prepared the contents for the mass mailing to residences in the town and Hanscom Air Force Base.
CSF of Bedford Dollars for Scholars, in its 59th year, presents scholarships to BHS seniors as well as residents who are graduating from other secondary schools to support their further educational pursuits. Last May, the chapter awarded more than $173,400.
The mailing includes details on the chapter’s goals and instructions on donating through a QR code, the chapter’s website, or by mail to Post Office Box 585, Bedford 01730.
