The good news during the night was a 53-41 win by the 14th-seeded varsity Buccaneer boys over 19th-ranked Grafton. Bedford came into the tourney with a 16-3 regular season record while Grafton was 14-6. The Bucs needed to come from behind in the fourth quarter to topple their guests.

Next up for the Bedford boys in the tournament schedule – a trip to Springfield to face third-seed Pope Francis. The day and time is TBA.

Bucs Girls dropped by Leominster

The 16th– ranked varsity girls’ hoop team, which dashed through the regular season schedule with a 17-3 record, fell to Leominster, 43-38.
