Two Local Students on RIT Dean’s List
Two local students were named to the Dean’s List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the fall semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. Full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean’s List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of “Incomplete,” “D,” or “F” and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.
Local students earning honors include:
- Tommy Desjardins of Bedford, who is in the 3D digital design program
- Layla Bassett of Hanscom Air Force Base, who is in the illustration program
Rochester Institute of Technology is home to creators, entrepreneurs, innovators, and researchers. Founded in 1829, RIT enrolls more than 20,500 students in 200 career-oriented and professional programs, making it among the largest private universities in the U.S.
Academic Honors for Julia Dearing
Julia Dearing of Bedford has been named to Bryant University’s Dean’s List for the fall semester in recognition of academic excellence.
To earn a place on the Deans’ List, students must have a GPA of 3.4 or better for at least 12 semester hours of work.

Eight Bedford Students Earn Dean’s List Honors
Tufts University recently announced the dean’s list for the fall semester. Dean’s list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.
Local students on the list include:
