More Academic Honors for Bedford Students in College

Here is another collection of academic awards and honors announcements about Bedford residents. There will be more to come.

Noel Lynch named to Lassell University Dean’s List

Noel Lynch, a Lasell University student from Hanscom AFB, was named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester.

To be named to the Dean’s List, students must complete at least 12 credits as a full-time student and achieve a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Lasell University is located in Newton.

Abigail Smith on Dean’s List at Anna Maria College

Abigail Smith of Hanscom AFB was named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester at Anna Maria College. 

Anna Maria College awards Dean’s List recognition to students enrolled in a full-time undergraduate day program in good standing who have attained in the previous semester a GPA of 3.5 with no grade lower than “B” for a minimum of four courses.

Four Bedford Students on Stonehill Dean’s List

More than 1,000 students have been recognized for academic excellence during the fall semester at Stonehill College. Bedford students on the Dean’s List include:

  • Jamie Buchannan
  • Alyssa Capone
  • Emily Harrington
  • Anthony Missiti

To qualify for this Dean’s List honor, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have successfully completed all courses for which they were registered.

Stonehill College, a Catholic institution of higher learning, was founded by the Congregation of Holy Cross in 1948. It is located on a 384-acre campus that is the former estate of Frederick Lothrop Ames in North Easton.

Dean’s List Honors for Joleen Ricci

Joleen Ricci of Bedford excelled during the fall semester at Hofstra, achieving a GPA of at least 3.5 to earn a spot on the Dean’s List. Joleen’s major is Video/Television.

Hofstra University is a community of nearly 11,000 students in Hempstead, NY dedicated to civic engagement, academic excellence and becoming leaders in their communities and their careers.
