The Friends of the Bedford Council on Aging is looking for new members.
FBCOA is a nonprofit organization that provides financial and operational support to the Council on Aging in Bedford.
The Friends supplement the Bedford Council on Aging budget, enabling the COA to do more, offer more, give more, and share more.
Member or not, residents can participate in all the trips and activities the Friends support. They can also attend board meetings. FBCOA values suggestions, wants to hear your questions, and welcomes your participation.
FBCOA board meetings are held from September through June.
Dues are $5 per person, $7 per family to support the mission to enrich the lives of the seniors who live in Bedford through the COA.
The FBCOA sponsors programs, speakers, movies, trips, parties, activities, and more. The FBCOA supports the Fix-It Shop and The Memory Café as well as many of the virtual classes that are now being offered. Additional donations are greatly appreciated.
The FBCOA is a 501c(3) charitable organization.
