Get a reusable bag and help a local non-profit organization. Bedford’s Patrons of Music Students (POMS) will receive $1 for each $2.50 reusable community bag sold through February at the Bedford Stop & Shop.
POMS is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization that has supported music programs in Bedford through fundraising and service to the community for more than 50 years.
POMS’ fundraising efforts support the local students and music faculty with supplementary funds and services to help make Bedford’s vibrant music program even better. Funding goes toward:
- Enrichment programs
- Instruments
- Costume rentals for BHS and JGMS musicals
- Teaching aid purchases for classrooms
- Teacher training and stipends
- Scholarship awards for graduating seniors
- Scholarships for drum major camp
