A current YouGov poll found that 54 percent of Americans read a book this year (meaning 46 percent didn’t). A Gallup Poll from 2022 said that 17 percent of people surveyed did not read any books. People seem to be reading fewer books.
The reasons aren’t really important, but it’s interesting.
