One of the winter landmarks on the town’s social calendar is returning from the virtual dimension.
Bedford Dollars for Scholars is sponsoring its annual team Trivia Night from 7 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10, an in-person event for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic.
Trivia Night will be at the American Legion Hall, 357 The Great Road. Attendees are encouraged to bring food; there will be a cash bar.
There will be a maximum of 15 tables. Registration is open at https://secure.givelively.org/event/csf-of-bedford-dollars-for-scholars-inc/in-person-trivia-night-2024. Tables of 6 to 10 participants are $300, and individuals and smaller groups can be added to available spaces by contacting Tara Goss at [email protected].
Sporcle, which assigns hosts to trivia contests and other quiz events nationwide, will provide questions, answers, and point allocation. First and second-place teams will receive prizes.
Bedford Dollars for Scholars (http://www.bedfordma.dollarsforscholars.org), established almost 60 years ago, raises money for education scholarships that it distributes annually to Bedford High School seniors and other 12th grade students who reside in the town or Hanscom Air Force Base.
Besides the Trivia Night registration, the sponsor will raise money at the event through the sale of raffle tickets for 10 baskets containing a range of donated goods and services. Businesses interested in contributing items to the raffle may contact Jenn Bouchard: [email protected].
