The St. Michaels of Bedford Knights of Columbus are sponsoring their annual Free Throw Shooting Contest from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 21 at the Lt. Job Lane School, 66 Sweetwater Ave. This event is open to for kids, ages 9 through 14.
Each contestant will shoot 15 free throws followed by an additional 25 attempts. The attempts will be made from the appropriate age-designated foul lines. Winners from each category will move on to the regional competition.
Registration forms can be found at the Bedford Recreation Department in the Town Center or contact Dan Sum at [email protected] or 908-342-4953. Walk-ins are welcome on the day of the event.
There is no charge to participate in this event.
