Saying Goodbye to 2023: Looking Back on October, November, and December

Today, we conclude our look back on 2023. This time, we share with you the stories of October, November, and December.

There was a lot of town business, especially with the Special Town Meeting and all the other issues that were on the agenda for most of the year. Bedford’s new town manager also jumped into the action.

In addition to the town business, these are also three months with lots of holidays, including Halloween, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, and Christmas.

We look forward to seeing what comes up in Bedford in 2024. With issues such as the new fire station, zoning for multi-family housing, the proposal to add hangars at Hanscom Field, and a new contract for teachers coming up, along with local, state and national elections, it will be a very active – and important – next 12 months.

The staff of The Bedford Citizen looks forward to continue serving you. We wish you all the best for a great New Year!
