Letter to the Editor: Why Were Flags Not Lowered on September 11?

As I drove around town on the 11^th of September I observed that the fire station was the only flag lowered in observance of 9-11.  Very sad that the town is back to failing again on the presidential order to lower the flag in remembrance of the victims of the terrorist attack on 2001

I believe three (3) residents also perished that day.  Someone should be held accountable for the total disrespect and ignorance.
