Letter to the Editor: POMS Thanks New Middlesex Turnpike Restaurant

Submitted by Christine Anderson, President of Bedford Patrons of Music Students (POMS)

POMS, Patrons of Music Students, would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Maggie’s Other Farm (https://www.maggiesotherfarm.com/) and the general manager, Rob Haberek, for the fundraiser they held for us on Wednesday, September 20.

With the closing of Flatbread this summer, a main source of our restaurant fundraisers was eliminated- but Maggie’s Other Farm stepped up. Maggie’s had never done an event like this, but Rob was eager to work with us and make this a great evening. They made space for the Funky Bunch to entertain customers (https://thebedfordcitizen.org/2023/08/band-debuts-amidst-springs-brooks-august-afternoon-vibe/) and the staff were welcoming and worked hard to make it a fun night and smooth experience.

The POMS Board would like to thank Rob and the entire staff for a great evening and for helping us to continue our mission to support all Bedford Public Schools music teachers and students.
