Republic Services has notified the Bedford DPW that they were unable to access the Flintlock, Battle Flagg, Coachmen and Redcoat neighborhoods to complete trash and recycling collection.
The DPW is working with the hauler to recover these misses as soon as possible, tentatively planned for Thursday, Sept. 7. Residents may notice trash and recycling collected in one split-bodied style truck with two separate inner material compartments. This truck style helps recover misses quickly with fewer trucks while keeping trash separate from recyclables.
Any bulky item misses in this neighborhood will be recovered on Friday, Sept. 8.
