The Bedford High School Class of 1971 held their 52nd year reunion last Saturday at the Burlington Marriot Hotel. The big event was originally planned as a 50th year reunion for 2021, however, the pandemic had other plans in mind for them.
At this reunion, 71 classmates gathered for a full weekend of activities encircling Bedford Day weekend.
On Friday, there was a meet and greet in the hotel lounge and a tour of Bedford High School, which certainly looks a lot different now than it did 52 years ago. Of course, we all look different, as well.
One class member remarked on how pleasant their high school tour guides were and also wondered what the students thought of the “old guys.”
Saturday night’s reunion dinner included dancing and music from the Class Reunion Band. There was a lot of reminiscing and catching up with each other. And people got to look over a lot of old news clippings and other memorabilia relating to the members of the class from throughout the years, carefully collected by the Bowlby twins, Diana and Debbie.
Here are photos from Saturday’s reunion event.
