The Bedford Citizen is taking the second (and final) week of its annual summer hiatus from Monday, Aug. 14 through Sunday, Aug. 20. There will be no regular daily or Sunday digests sent during the hiatus week.

Who painted the watercolor on the 8/10 Bedford Citizen?
The picture was originally a photograph taken of Fawn Lake by The Bedford Citizen founder, Julie Turner, in 2013. She used software to create the watercolor effect. A decade in and it remains a beautiful representation of summer in Bedford!
