Harold R. Ward, 92, of Bedford died on Aug. 22, 2023, in Bedford.
Mr. Ward was predeceased by his wife, Johnna “Bobbi” Ward. He was the son of the late Richard G. and Doris E. Ward and father of the late Kenneth Ward.
He was born in Lancaster, NY on July 31, 1931, and lived in Bedford from 1960 to 2023.
Harold served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict.
He was educated at Clarkson University and earned a master’s degree in engineering. He was employed as a Senior Scientist for Raytheon.
He is survived by his son, Neal R. Ward and his wife Monique of Groton, and his daughter, Carol L. Ward of Bedford, and grandchildren Catherine (Ward) Russo of Scottsdale, AZ and Samantha (Ward) Kran of Hyde Park.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 12 at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford.
