The Bedford Citizen is taking next week off (July 10 – July 16) and we’ll be taking a second week in August. It got us thinking/dreaming about vacations. Where you go on vacation will be a future poll, but for now, we’re curious as to what kind of accommodations you choose. There are many more options than there used to be in terms of where you rest your head at night when you’re away from home. VRBO and other short-term vacation options have changed the landscape. In New England, renting a cottage is a popular choice as well. Still, according to a recent survey, nearly 60 percent of people vacationing choose to stay at a hotel.
