NENPA is Looking for New England Newspaper of the Year Contest Judges

The Bedford Citizen is a member of the New England Newspaper and Press Association. It is the largest regional news association in the country. Members come from print and online news organization – both large and small – from all six New England states.

NENPA holds two big contests per year. Judging will begin soon for the current contests, which includes Newspaper of the Year.

The New England Newspaper of the Year competition is unique in that it is judged by newspaper readers. Each year, NENPA looks for reader judges to pick the winning entries. It is also a great way for NENPA to learn about readers’ views about what qualities separate good newspapers from great ones.

The organization conducts a thorough screening process to determine eligibility and assign judges to a group that does not include newspapers they regularly read.

People selected as judges will receive $100 for sharing their time and opinions in this three-hour study.
