More Academic Honors for Bedford Residents

J. Evan Squire on Dean’s List

J. Evan Squire (Bedford ‘22) made Dean’s List at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT.

Bedford Students Earn Dean’s List Honors at Stonehill

The following local students were among nearly 1,000 students named to the Spring 2023 Dean’s List at Stonehill College in Easton:

  • Alyssa Capone
  • Emily Harrington
  • Anthony Missiti

To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have successfully completed all courses for which they were registered.

Two Bedford Students on Hofstra Dean’s List

Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY congratulates the students named to the Spring 2023 Dean’s List for their outstanding academic achievement. Students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 during the semester to make the Dean’s List. Hofstra students from Bedford honored include:

  • Siena Oliveri Kuhnle, English major
  • Joleen Ricci, Video/Television major

Bedford Students Named to Dean’s List

The University of Vermont announces that the following Bedford students were named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester:

  • Helen Oustinow is majoring in Animal Sciences.
  • Antranig Douglas is majoring in Psychological Science.

To be named to the dean’s list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.

Jasper Paez on Siena College President’s List

Jasper Paez was named to the Siena College President’s List for the fall semester. Jasper is from Bedford.

The President’s List requires a 3.9 grade point average or higher. Siena College is in Loudonville, NY.

Dean’s List Honors for Two Bedford Students

The University of Rhode Island announces the fall Dean’s List. Bedford students on the list include:

  • Madison Filosa
  • Zoe Scipioni

To be included on the Dean’s List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable earning at least a 3.30 quality point average.

Four Local Students on UMGC Dean’s List

More than 9,800 University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) students were named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester.

To be eligible for the honor, a student must complete at least six credits during the term, earned a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the term, and maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at UMGC.

  • Christopher Cernigliaro of Hanscom AFB
  • Matthew Leno of Hanscom AFB
  • Dante Meola of Bedford
  • Aaron Methratta of Bedford

Emerson College Dean’s List Honors

Bedford students earned Dean’s List honors for Emerson College’s fall semester. The requirement to make Dean’s List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.

  • Kai Etringer is majoring in Media Arts Production and is a member of the Class of 2026.
  • Katrina Kusa is majoring in Communication Studies and is a member of the Class of 2026.

Theresa Hennessey on Emmanuel Dean’s List

Theresa Hennessey of Bedford made Emmanuel College’s Dean’s List for the fall semester. To earn a spot on the Dean’s List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester.

Emmanuel College is a co-educational, residential institution with a 17-acre campus in the heart of Boston’s educational, scientific, cultural and medical communities.

Bedford Students on Bates Dean’s List

The following Bedford students were named to the dean’s list at Bates College for the fall semester. This is a distinction earned by students whose grade point average is 3.92 or higher.

  • Mia Bernstein. She is the daughter of David N. Bernstein and Diane P. Bernstein and is a graduate of Bedford High School. She is majoring in anthropology and dance.
  • Tatum Holley. She is the daughter of Jeffrey R. Holley and Sonia H. Holley and is a graduate of Cambridge School of Weston. She is a sophomore at Bates.

Located in Lewiston, Maine, Bates is internationally recognized as a leading liberal arts college, attracting 2,000 students from across the U.S. and around the world.
