Latest List of Bedford Students Earning Academic Honors

This is the next list of Bedford students who have excelled in college. We accept these listings sent to us from colleges and universities as well as from private schools. We will not post items not verified by the schools.

Dean’s List Honors for Joseph DiPietro

Joseph DiPietro of Bedford was named to the College of the Holy Cross spring Dean’s List.

A member of the Class of 2026, DiPietro was also named to the Dean’s List for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2022-23 academic year.

To qualify, students must pass four or more letter-graded courses with no failing grades during the semester and earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Helen Gillespy Earns Honors at Western New England University

Hanscom Air Force Base resident Helen Gillespy has been named to Western New England University’s Dean’s List for the spring semester.

Gillespy, majoring in Mechanical Engineering, is one of more than 570 students who achieved this mark of academic excellence. Students are named to the Dean’s List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher.

Western New England University (WNE) is a private, nationally ranked, comprehensive institution with a focus on preparing work-ready and world-ready graduates. Founded in 1919 in Springfield, Massachusetts as a division of Northeastern College, WNE’s 215-acre suburban campus serves more than 3,700 students, including over 2,500 full-time undergraduates.

Academic Honors for Julia Dearing and Ariana Hovnanian

Bryant University is pleased to recognize Julia Dearing of Bedford for her commitment to academic excellence by naming her to the spring 2023 President’s List.

The President’s List is an academic distinction reserved for Bryant’s highest achievers who earn a GPA of 4.0 for at least 12 semester hours of work. Congratulations on this outstanding achievement!

Julia was also named to the Dean’s List as was Ariana Hovnanian, also from Bedford.

To earn a place on the Dean’s List students must have a GPA of 3.4 or better for at least 12 semester hours of work.

Bryant University is in Smithfield, RI.

Two Bedford Students on Champlain College Dean’s List

Isaac Lovy and Darla Nordstrom of Bedford have been named to the Champlain College Dean’s List for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in the spring semester.

Founded in 1878, Champlain College is a small, not-for-profit, private college in Burlington, Vermont.
