‘Gone Fishing’ The Bedford Citizen’s Annual Hiatus Dates Set

With the July 4th holiday coming up, The Bedford Citizen staff will be off on Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4 to share the occasion with their families. We will be back to work on Wednesday, July 5.

The Bedford Citizen’s annual hiatus will be a bit different this year. Instead of taking two weeks in a row as time off, as happened last year, it will be spread out with a week in July and another in August to make sure we are able to catch up with the latest news without a large gap in coverage.

The first “Gone Fishing” week will take place from Monday, July 10 through Sunday, July 16. The second is Monday, Aug. 14 through Sunday, Aug. 20. There will be no daily or Sunday digests sent during those two hiatus weeks.

Urgent stories will be posted if they arrive; others will appear when daily posts resume on Monday, July 17 and Monday, Aug. 21.

We wish you a happy, healthy, and safe holiday and a wonderful vacation season!
