Bedford’s First Church of Christ, Congregational, 25 Great Road, celebrated the coming of summer with its 72nd Strawberry Festival on Thursday night.
This popular event attracted a large crowd of hungry people, ready for strawberry shortcakes. This treat included fresh strawberries, old fashioned biscuits, and Bedford Farms vanilla ice cream, topped with optional homemade chocolate sauce and real whipped cream. And for those who wanted something different, hot fudge sundaes were also be available.

The event also included bubble making and live music by Ben Knight.
