Orchids are tropical plants, so why do the plant tags instruct you to use ice cubes for watering them? The ice burns and damages the roots and guess what…in a few months (or less) you are buying another orchid to replace the one that doesn’t look so good anymore. Simply water them at the root and they will be very happy. And so will you!
