Michael David Melvin, 47, of Billerica, passed away on April 13, 2023.
Michael was born in Woburn to Janet and the late Frank Melvin on Dec. 27, 1975. He was a 1996 graduate of Bedford High School.
Michael is survived by his daughter Brooke who was the light of his life and his mother Janet Melvin; brothers, Frank Melvin and wife Michele of Chelmsford, Scott Melvin, and wife Dorothy of Billerica, and Todd Melvin and wife Christine of Billerica; sisters, Ruth Antonucci and husband Kevin of Fryeburg Maine and Melissa Alexander and husband Arthur of Billerica. Michael also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his father Frank Melvin.
Visiting hours will be held in Shawsheen Funeral Home, 281 Great Rd., Bedford, from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18. The Funeral Service will be in the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19. Family and friends are invited.
In lieu of flowers, a scholarship fund has been set up for Mike’s daughter Brooke Melvin C/O Melissa Alexander. Donations can be sent to the Stoneham Bank, 493 Boston Rd., Billerica, MA, 01821.
