Joseph M. Massaro, 58, of Bedford died on Oct. 19, 2022. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics degree from Boston College in 1985 and completed his PhD in Mathematics/Statistics from Boston University in 1994.
In 2006, Joe married Monica (Elmore) Massaro, another Boston University graduate and statistician. They raised two daughters, Anna and Karina. Most of Joe’s career was spent as a professor of Biostatistics, Mathematics and Statistics at Boston University.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Michael’s Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5.
