Elizabeth Mary Damiani ‘Betsy’ Andress passed away on June 24, 2022. A famously serious student Mrs. Andress earned degrees in Foreign Service (Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, 1968, where a classmate named Bill Clinton would borrow her notes from Professor Onuf’s International Relations class), and a Master of Arts in Public Policy and Administration (University of Wisconsin), both of which were put to their constant and highest possible use raising three children.
At Mrs. Andress’s request, there will be no formal services, but the family is planning a small memorial gathering at a time to be determined.
