The high winds and chilly temps did not deter attendance at Cars & Coffee! Last Saturday, the Energy & Sustainability Committee hosted an electric vehicle (EV) fair at the newly installed charging station by Depot Park. The Depot Park station is the 12th charging station to be installed in Bedford, and joins others located at each of the schools, library, and Town Hall. EV Ambassadors from the Green Energy Consumers Alliance showcased their vehicles and answered questions about their experience owning EVs. A wide variety of cars were featured, including Tesla Model Y, Chevrolet Bolt, Volkswagen ID.4, Hyundai Kona, Tesla Model T, and Honda Clarity.
Green Energy Consumers Alliance is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping people transition to clean renewable energy by offering information about clean heating, electric vehicles, solar energy, and other sustainable programs. It is an excellent resource for anyone interested in purchasing an EV. Check out the Green Energy Consumers Alliance webinar library and upcoming events to learn more about electric vehicles. Stay tuned for a future Cars & Coffee event!
