A Statement from the Bedford School Committee: Bedford Public School Curriculum Review of Math

At the May 10, 2022, meeting of the Bedford School Committee, a change was proposed to make 6^th grade math unleveled by removing a section for more advanced students.

After further review, the proposal to end 6^th grade leveling will be withdrawn, and instead will be rolled into a larger discussion and examination of the entire Math curriculum as a part of a multi-year K-12 curriculum review.

At the May 24^th meeting, the curriculum review process and guidelines will be reviewed by our district leadership.
