Teams from ten Massachusetts cities and towns are competing for scholarships during Saturday’s 11th annual Tenacity Challenge at Bedford High School. Showing their strength in history, art, English literature, history, and math students clearly brought their best to Bedford.
In addition to the scholarship competition, spoken word artist Michelle LaPoetica Richardson and DJ Enyce performed, and Boston City Councilor Ricard Aroyo offered the afternoon’s keynote.
Participating teams include Bedford: the Furious Four, Project Excel, and the Scholarly Six; Burlington: the Essential Six, I Bring Me, and Invictus; Framingham: Framingham Flyers; Lexington: the Sondering Scholars; Lowell: the Medics, the Auditors, the American Dreamers, and the Steppers; Melrose: Shabazz 6; Methuen: Methuen Rising and We Have a Dream Team; Natick: Natick High Dreamers; Newton North: Outliers, Los Tigres, and Wonder Women; and Taunton: Taunton High School Teams One and Two.
