Letter to the Editor: Regarding Dan Carroll and Ron O’Brien, Candidates for Select Board

~ Submitted by Joe Piantedosi and 182 Bedford Residents  *

We are Bedford residents who enthusiastically support Dan Carroll and Ron O’Brien for the two Select Board seats at the election on March 12. They have the experience and skills to respond to and successfully navigate the complex issues our town faces including rising taxes, funding and implementation of a new fire station, various infrastructure and energy-related projects, advocating for our senior population, retaining and welcoming local businesses, and the high Town employee turnover in many key positions.

We want Bedford’s government to remain small and efficient while still being responsive to the needs of all its citizens. We dislike division along political lines and desire leaders who will unite us.

Dan Carroll and Ron O’Brien have extensive management, financial and technical backgrounds that will serve us very well.

“We dislike division along political lines and desire leaders who will unite us.”

What does this mean, actually?
