Thomas “Tom” M. Sardzinski passed away on February 4 2022. Mr. Sardzinski joined the Air Force in his late teens, and was eventually stationed at Hanscom Air Force Base; while living in Bedford, Tom met and fell in love with the late Barbara (Bishop) Sardzinski. He worked at Raytheon for over 30 years then at Hologic Inc. Mr. Sardzinski loved to fish and would often go fishing by himself or with his sons. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s activities and games and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who have described him as the “best grandpa ever.”
Visitation will be held at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 The Great Road on Friday, February 11, from 4 until 8 pm. A funeral Mass in St. Michael Church, 90 Concord Rd will take place at 9 am, followed by interment at Shawsheen Cemetery. Masks are required at both events.
