Make it 12-0.

The Bedford High School girls’ basketball team cruised up and down Route 128 Friday, and in between cruised to a 64—32 victory at Manchester-Essex High School – the last small school on Bedford’s regular-season schedule.

Head Coach Ashley Kepaa’s team will be tested over the next two weeks, all away from home: at Wakefield on Wednesday, at Newton South next Friday, and at Lincoln-Sudbury on Feb. 7.

Last Tuesday’s game demonstrated that this undefeated team knows how to come from behind on the road against a good team.

The Bucs defeated Concord-Carlisle for the first time in four years, 49-41. No one on the roster has experienced a win against the rival until now.

This was a fourth-quarter that will long be remembered. Bedford trailed 37-31 after three quarters – the first time this season they have trailed in the second half.

How would they respond? How about 18-4 in the fourth period to win going away?

Senior Katherine Vaughan was unstoppable, finishing with 15 points and 18 rebounds. Junior Marina Greaney (12) and Julia Dearing (10) also were in double figures.
