An Obituary: Edward James ‘Ed’ Reardon

Edward James ‘Ed’ Reardon passed away on January 9, 2022; a longtime Arlington resident, Mr. Reardon died at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital. Mr. Reardon knew all the streets and neighborhoods of the old Boston, its history and politics, and he shared many of the stories with his 9 children and grandchildren.  He joined the US Air Force at age 17 in 1954, becoming a respected cryptographic mechanic.  He was a lifelong American and European history buff with a special interest in WWII, politics who will be remembered as a fascinating and unique man with a huge heart who will be sorely missed by those who loved him.

Burial will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, on Friday, January 14, at 11:15 am.
